Data of several patients can be input and organized with the help of the utility. Patient data includes general information, such as name and date of birth, blood glucose level, diabetes type, taken medication, regimen and complications. A search tool is available for finding a certain patient in the list. After downloading the meter readings stored on the blood glucose meter and entering them in the data base, certain reports can be processed by the application, such as glucose trend, pie charts, histograms or average readings. For example, the pie chart report will display glucose readings that fall within and without the target range for each meal slot, in percentages.
Additionally, OneTouch meters can be downloaded using several diabetes monitoring platforms, (OneTouch Reveal app, Glooko via Apple Health; Tidepool via USB cable), ensuring easy connectivity for you and your patients.
The OneTouch Reveal mobile app is a diabetes management tool that can help you track your blood sugar from your compatible iOS or Android wireless device and easily share your readings with your healthcare professional and family members.
The OneTouch Reveal web app is a web-based application intended for use by individuals or healthcare professionals in the home or healthcare facilities for transmitting data from home monitoring devices, such as other OneTouch brand meters and insulin pumps, to a server database to support diabetes management.

If you have diabetes, you can use this device to your advantage by downloading (and using) a diabetes management app. The key is finding the right app that addresses concerns and makes managing your diabetes easier.
This app almost does it all for type I, type II, and gestational diabetes management. It offers carb counting, glucose tracking, and bolus dose calculation estimates. It can give you reports on your blood glucose levels over weeks, months, and even years. As a bonus, it can estimate your hemoglobin A1C based on your tracking. A clean, intuitive, customizable dashboard interface and the ability to sync with your glucose monitor can set this app apart. MySugr has features that can help you make the most out of the app, such as reminders that ping you to follow up with more data, like blood sugar levels after a workout. All the data and charts are usually easy to send to your doctor, so you can work together to adjust your treatment and better manage your diabetes based on accurate information.
Some apps allow you to download this information to share it with your doctor, too. You can use apps to plan your meals to make dietary changes. A few apps even allow you to connect with other people who have diabetes to get additional tips and support.
Lifescan One Touch Diabetes Management Software USB Cable is required to transfer the meter test results to the personal computer. The USB cable works with windows 98SE, windows ME, windows 2000, windows XP, windows vista and windows 7. The USB cable can only be used with the new OneTouch diabetes management software.
This diabetes management app pairs with the OneTouch Verio Flex and the OneTouch Verio Reflect blood glucose meter to track your readings over time. The app will notify you about any recurring patterns (times when your blood glucose is too high or too low) so you know to take action, and it pulls your data into 14-, 30-, and 90-day summaries that you can share with your doctor or diabetes educator. OneTouch Reveal also integrates with the Apple Health app, so you can track your blood glucose, steps, weight, heart rate, and more all in one place.
MySugr is an app designed and created by fellow type 1 and type 2 diabetics and promises to make diabetes management easier. Healthline praised it for having a clean and intuitive interface and its ability to sync with your glucose monitor, which sets it apart from other apps on this list. The app lets you log your blood glucose, monitor carb intake, track insulin and generate reports to give your healthcare provider easily from your phone. The app takes type 1 and type 2 diabetes management a step further by offering tasks and challenges to help you focus on specific treatments and therapy goals specific to you, but some come at a cost.
