If you are looking to buy, sell, or just simply transfer office 2010 licenses with the help of your old XP PC with office 2007/2010 on it, this is the solution. This magic activation and conversion kit will provide you with a working license key that can be used on your old XP PC that has office 2007/2010 on it. All you need to do is install this utility onto your old PC and follow some simple steps. The more complicated part of this process is installing the new version of office 2010 onto your new machine. A tiny bit of attention to detail really helps. If you do not read this guide carefully, you may end up with an office 2010 setup that can, at best, act as a demo for the new version. The first thing that you need to do is download the install files. You will find them in the "office_2010_conversion_kit" folder of your download zip file above (link below). These instructions will work for Windows Vista/7/8 only; I cannot provide instructions for Windows XP. So make sure you are running one of these operating systems before you proceed any further with this article. The folder containing the setup files was downloaded as "office_2010_conversion_kit.zip". There are three files contained in this folder: 1. Microsoft Toolkit 2.5; 2. ODT (Office Diagnostics Tool); and 3. Office 2010 Pre-Conversion Reports (xls file). The first task is to run ODT (Office Diagnostics Tool) to check if everything is set up right before you start installing Office 2010 on your new machine. To do this; first; double click the file called "ODT" in the folder you downloaded above (link below). You will see something like this:Then click on the arrow next to "Change... " as you can see in the image below, to bring up a menu as shown below. Then click on "Run as Administrator" from the popup menu as shown below. Then click on "OK". This will open a command prompt window. Accept all yes/no dialogs and let it finish. Once this is finished, right click on the file called "Microsoft Toolkit" in the directory that you downloaded above (link below). Then select "Run As Administrator" from the menu that pops up. This will open a command prompt window. Accept all yes/no dialogs and let it finish. Your machine should now be fully ready to install Office 2010 on your new machine (XP/Vista/7/8). Install the software according to your manufacturer's instructions (the link above is what my DVD came with). After installation, make sure you set up email using your ISP's webmail service rather than Outlook (unless you are using Outlook on your main PC). cfa1e77820
